Meet Our Founder
In 2018, Sharonda founded RSP Solution, LLC, a boutique strategic consulting firm specializing in community and civic engagement outreach planning. This venture highlights her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to fostering community empowerment and civic participation. Through RSP Solution, she helps clients develop strategies for growth, corporate citizenship initiatives, and charitable activities while identifying strategic partnerships and funding opportunities to support their goals.
Her Story
Sharonda is a proud native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and grew up the middle child of a single mother in the Historical Sistrunk neighborhood of Dorey Riverbend. She is a second-generation alumnus of Dillard High School where she graduated from the Emerging Technology Program in the top 10% of her class. Upon completing her high school career, Sharonda immediately joined the workforce before going on to pursue her degree from St. Petersburg College where she obtained her BAS in Business Management and Organizational Leadership in 2023.
From an early age, Sharonda demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and community engagement. Her career began with a summer youth job as a receptionist at the Florida Department of Children and Families Child Protective Services Department, followed by a high school workforce training position at the Social Security Administration Office of Hearing & Appeals. This passion for public service led her to a 14-year tenure in legislative staff positions within both the Florida House and Senate, where she served as a legislative aide and Chief of Staff to several representatives and senators from the Broward and Palm Beach County delegations. During this period, she worked on key issues such as affordable housing, gun reform, the Stand Your Ground law, police body cameras, and criminal justice reform. She also set a high standard for providing constituent education and services to the districts she served, implementing a Community Connection Program to provide constituents with a dedicated in-office computer to access state government resources following the 2008 recession. She also developed a middle and high school legislative classroom series to educate students on the Florida legislative process. These initiatives led her to start her consulting firm RSP Solution in 2018, to leverage her extensive network and deep understanding of government processes to help others navigate complexities, foster inclusive growth, and create a brighter future for her community.

In February 2019, Sharonda joined Rubin, Turnbull & Associates, a leading government relations firm, as a governmental consultant. In this capacity, she played a key role in coordinating the firm's local, state, and federal government relations activities, offering expert consulting and outreach services to clients. In 2022, her role expanded when she was named the firm’s Director of Community Engagement. In this leadership position, Sharonda is responsible for building and sustaining strong relationships between clients and the communities they serve. She develops strategic initiatives that align client goals with community needs and priorities, fostering meaningful partnerships and ensuring open, effective communication that drives positive outcomes for both clients and the public.

Sharonda's professional commitments are complemented by her volunteer services and organizational affiliations, dedicating her time to using her political skills and knowledge to assist small not-for-profit organizations with accessing government resources and growing community relationships. She is a member of the National Black Professional Lobbyist Association whose mission is to promote the benefits of diversity and inclusion in the professional arenas of lobbying, advocacy, legislative and government affairs fostering an environment that encourages dialogue and collaboration among lobbyists, legislative staff, elected officials, and corporate entities. She has served as a liaison and board member for the All-Star Classic, Inc. for 17 years and is an at-large board member of AGoodman4Kids Foundation assisting with programming and community outreach. Additionally, she joined the Avenue of The Arts (AOTA) team, which she supports through grant writing and coordinating strategic public and private partnerships. A strong believer in giving back, Sharonda provides volunteer consulting services to organizations focused on supporting vulnerable populations, embodying her heritage and the perseverance of the Historical Sistrunk Community and Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Her achievements have been recognized by various organizations, including being named Legislative Staffer of the Year by the Florida Sheriff’s Association in 2015 for her support role in the passing of the state’s pivotal Police Body Camera legislation. She was also named to Legacy magazine’s 2018 list of “40 Under 40 Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” for her outstanding contributions to her field and community. She is a past member of the Urban League of Broward County Young Professionals Network, where she chaired the civic engagement committee.
